Started on the 15th day of the first month of Tibetan Lunar Calendar, the auspicious occasion of Chotrul duchen. In observance of Year of Gratitude to His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama, Drepung Gomang Monastery under the initiative headed by His Eminence Khen Rinpoche has started a virtual program on Basic of Buddhism for youngsters and for those interested.
As requested by the monastery, the text tutor of Drepung Gomang Monastery Geshe Lharampa Jamyang Gedun gave teaching on the basic of Buddhism on the topic of impermanence and death as the observance of the Year of gratitude to H.H.the 14th Dalai Lama as coordinated by Drepung Gomang Monastery.
Venerable Tulkus/Lamas and learned scholars/masters/geshes will be also taking part in the series of virtual programs in days to follow and will be teaching on Buddhism.
